Hello.
In this post I explain how magic currently works, as there is a lot of confusion around it, along with the upcoming plans for it on the next update.
Right now, you have a pretty slim chance, and when I say so, it's almost 1 in a million.
Let's get off with the explanation.
Rewards
Right now, you have two categories of rewards you can earn. Those are the Yellow Coin Delivered and Blue Coin Delivered.
For Yellow Coin, you have the energy prizes along with the smileys.
For Blue Coin, you have blocks as prizes.
For now, you can only get (by order): the wizard, the fire wizard, the grinch, the witch, the dark wizard, the purple ghost and the light wizard from Yellow Coins.
From Blue Coins, you can get the bricks.
Chances
As of yet, you have a pretty rare chance.
That is, 1 in 666500. That means you have 0.000150037509377% chance to get a magic in every coin you touch.
There are some bonus penalizers, which are revealed next.
Chances Penalities
There are some penalities for magic.
One of them is the player amount. Each player on your world, the maximum range increases by 10000.
For each coin on your world, too, maximum range increases by 5000.
If you have any reset block on your world, maximum range increases by 10000.
It is really hard to make a functional magic generator.
Upcoming changes
Since the magic system is really rare right now, I have decided to buff it's chances, tho to also improve it's cheating detection (magic generators are an example) efficiency.
First off, the maximum range has been changed to 333500, meaning it is now 1 in 3335000 (0.000299850074963%). That means you have a win of extra 0.0149812565593% chance to get magic.
However, that is really small, and with penalizers around... For that reason, penalizers have been also changed.
Now, this means I changed player count penalizer etc... Let's go straight to the second one.
Player count now only adds 1000 to the maximum player amount. This is a 90% removal from the previous penalization amount.
On third place, coins now only add 500 to the maximum amount each. Again, a 90% removal.
On the fourth place, I've changed how the reset block penalizer works. Now, for each reset block on the world, the penalizing amount is added. It was also nerfed, which means you now only get on the maximum range 5000 increased. This was a 50% removal.
On the fifth place, I've added world portal to the penalizer. Obviously, if reset block is penalized, world portal should too. The penalization is the same as the reset block.
And... Here we go!
